ABOUT OLIVE

Olive Glenning is a Los Angeles–based creative music operative working across supervision, strategy, and artist-facing development. With experience inside both a major television studio and the #1 global music company, her work spans scripted television, sync, catalog, and release creative, always with an ear for alignment and impact.

She’s contributed to over 30 scripted series including Abbott Elementary, Ted Lasso, The Sex Lives of College Girls, You, Shrinking, Bad Monkey, and Presumed Innocent’s, supporting music across creative and operational touchpoints. Her approach blends intuition with structure, whether shaping sonic identity, consulting on project rollouts, or building systems that support music with intention.

She originally entered the legal & government field, drawn to its structure, strategy, and attention to detail—all qualities that still ground her work today. But music had always stirred something deeper in her. Over time, she realized she was most alive when thinking about how sound could shape emotion, shift a scene, or deepen a character. Taking that leap into music for film and television felt like coming home to the part of herself that had been quietly waiting, and she has never looked back.

Today, she works across formats to support projects that value clarity, cultural fluency, and thoughtful sound. Her work is driven by curiosity, collaborative precision, and a belief that the right music makes everything click.

She is especially drawn to work that challenges norms, resonates emotionally, and treats music as an essential layer of storytelling. She’s now focused on leading music across projects that value story-first sound, collaborative innovation, and creative integrity.
